We are currently offering light Caribbean fare made with fresh, seasonal and always fresh ingredients. Our signature items are handmade beef, chicken, and vegetable empanadas prepared from scratch. Also and from time to time we offer additional Dominican appetizers like sides, and beverages (including natural fruit juices and the world-famous Pera Piña Juice!) are also offered for limited time in our menu. About the Chef
Chef/Owner Melvin Mendez grew up in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York City as a teenager. He hold degrees in culinary arts and draws on his training in French cuisine to create rich, authentic, and passionately made versions of classic Dominican foods you will not find anywhere around.
